Lessons Learned

Work on UI sooner
When this project was about 50% finished, I thought it was time to switch from a cold coder look to something more professional. This led to many small, brain-dead adjustments. Next time, I need to focus on the UI right after having a functional prototype.

Do not rush into production!
I didn’t set up sign keys properly, and after some updates to this app, I got locked out because there was a problem while installing the APK. I realized this while I was at work. Luckily, this app is a personal project, but the dread of knowing I couldn’t fix it immediately (and knowing it was a small problem) was pretty unsettling.
